About the Friends of Pooh
The Friends of Pooh is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded by Robin & Kevin Carey of the Outer Barks.  The organization was inspired by their two Keeshonden, Tigger & Winnie, both of whom passed away of cancer in 2006. The  organization exists to  provide financial  support as well as educational resources to permanent residents of Dare and Currituck County and Ocracoke Island residents whose canines have been diagnosed with cancer and are in documented need of financial assistance.  The following treatments will be biven consideration for  financial support:

        -Surgery for the removal of malignant tumors;
        -Chemotherapy treatment (oral or injectible or a combination of both)
